Norfolk and Suffolk councils have joined forces with environmental charity Hubbub to launch #FoodSavvy, a collaborative new initiative designed to help households cut food waste by a fifth, inline with the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals.

Individuals and organisations are invited to get involved and share simple ways to eat in a climate friendly way which is healthy, affordable and delicious. Get in touch to partner on Food Savvy campaigns such as Community Fridges and the Food Savvy Lunch Club which will cut plastic and waste within your organisation.

The impact food waste has on average family budgets is incredible. It’s also costing tax payers millions and is bad news for the environment.

We’re not talking about massive lifestyle changes – small changes really can make a big difference.
