
Food Savvy Christmas Competition
Your freezer acts as a pause button allowing your food to last for longer!
We are searching for food items that you will be putting in the freezer this Christmas. You may be freezing food items to get ahead with your Christmas preparations or to save them from being thrown away. Whatever the reason, we want to hear from you how you use your freezer during the festive season.

How to enter:
Share a food item that you will be freezing this festive season by commenting on the pinned competition posts on social media and be in with a chance to win a copy of The Full Freezer Method by Kate Hall.
The prizes are:
Two winners will be awarded a copy of the Full Freezer Method by Kate Hall.
One book will be given to a winner in Norfolk and one to a winner in Suffolk.
General terms and conditions:
The competition will run from 1st December 2024 until 31st December 2024 at 11.59pm. After this date no further entries will be accepted. The winners will be drawn at random and will be notified by 9th January 2025.
The competition is being run by Norfolk County Council and Suffolk County Council.
The competition is open to residents of Norfolk aged 18 years or over except employees of Norfolk County Council’s waste team.
The competition is open to residents of Suffolk aged 18 years or over except for employees or close relatives/associates of Suffolk County, District and Borough Council waste teams.
One entry per person will be accepted into the draw.
Internet access is required to enter competitions.
Food Savvy Norfolk winners must provide a name and Norfolk address details.
Food Savvy Suffolk winners must provide a name and Suffolk address details.
One winner will be drawn for Norfolk and one for Suffolk. The winners only will be notified via the comments in the competition posts.
Winning participants must claim their prize by the date given in correspondence, or they will forfeit their prize. In this scenario, an alternative winner will be selected.
The promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of similar value in the event of non-availability of the stated prize and if the prize, described above, cannot be awarded for reasons beyond the promoter’s reasonable control.
The promoter reserves the right to release the name of winning entrants in any competitions or promotions run on these platforms.
Proof of identity may be required in order to claim the prizes.
The prize has no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative products
The competition organisers reserve the right to use any competition entries in future Food Savvy promotions.
Norfolk County Council’s and Suffolk County Council’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
