Coffee and chocolate custard pots

These coffee and chocolate pots are a quick win when you crave something sweet, silky and rich. They’re also an easy, budget friendly dessert to impress your family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 400ml low fat custard

  • 60g dark chocolate – broken into pieces

  • 40ml very strong coffee

  • Finely grated zest of an orange

  • Squirty cream

  • ½ tsp cocoa powder

Method

1. Gently heat the custard in a saucepan over a medium heat.

2. Add the chocolate, followed by the espresso and orange zest. Stir until the chocolate has melted, then pass through a sieve.

3. Pour into 4 individual glasses or bowls.

4. Place in the fridge for 2 hours to form up.

5. Top with some squirty cream and a dusting of cocoa powder.
