Chilli Jam
Chilli jam is great as a Christmas gift and tastes delicious with many things, like cheese and cooked meats.

- 1 large red bell pepper 
- 5 red fresh red chillies (deseeded) 
- 500 grams jam sugar 
- 600 millilitres apple cider vinegar 
Method
- Blitz the pepper and chillies in a food processor until they are finely chopped. 
- Dissolve sugar in vinegar over a low heat. 
- Once dissolved, add the pepper and chillies and bring to the boil. Leave boiling for around 10 minutes. 
- Leave to cool - the jam will start to solidify. 
- Sterilise jars in a pan of boiling water - add mixture and label!
